We are pleased to announce that with the cooperation of designer Patrick McCurry, the original PCM 109
is now to be re-released as the first of the Platinum Series kits to be offered by Meister Scale. In an
effort to better serve customers of the most exact scale 109 ever offered, Meister Scale has purchased the
rights and tooling in full to recreate the original kit. Over the next few months we will be tooling up to
produce the first kits, with the same high standard of the original kit. In addition we will be able to
fully supply and support past customers with the items you need to complete your model.
At just over quarter scale, this model is the largest scale 109 in production today and boosts a level of
accuracy second to none. Finally 109 lovers can have a model that will live up to their expectations. From
the plug-in wing panels to the upright gear units mounted in the fuselage where they belong -- this is a 109!
Like before, our model will be able to be built as any of the F versions all the way through to the very
last of the line, the G and K series.
The Deluxe kit will include a gel-coated epoxy glass fuselage, foam cores for the wing panels and stabilizer,
and built up rudder with the option to build up the elevators and ailerons as well. The kit also includes all
the formers, sheeting and hardware needed to complete the model in standard form as well as the canopy
familiar to the 109 G series. Meister Scale will also have all the options you need to complete the model
just the way you want it, such as landing gear, extra spinners, scale prop blades and all the components
to build a world class cockpit to top off that perfect model.
