Meister Scale at Top Gun 2008

Meister-Scale once again was represented in force this year at Top Gun's 20th Anniversary invitational held every year at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport. Two Meister-Scale aircraft were on display and flew in the Pro-Am Pro class. The first plane built and flown by P.J. Ash (Meister-Scale Associate) was the very popular P-47 painted in the Glenn Eagleston paint scheme. This was the second Top Gun for both pilot and aircraft. P.J. did however re-weathered the plane and added Sierra Retracts and updated more scale features.

What really took Top Gun by storm was the introduction of the new ME-109 which is the first kit to be offered in Meister-Scale's "Platinum Series" of high quality kits. This plane was previously sold under PCM Models of which Meister-Scale acquired the rights to. Not only was this plane released at the 20th Anniversary of Top Gun, Dino was able to take home First Place in Pro-Am Pro with it! Look for this kit to be released shortly!

We can't wait to see everyone next year. Meister-Scale is preparing to be represented by several other aircraft at Top Gun 2009 and is looking forward to another wonderful year! Make sure you add to your calendar the Top Gun 2009 event and come see us at the Meister-Scale tent!
